We want everyone to be able to use this website. We build it to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as our working standard. We are not claiming that the site conforms to that standard: it has not been independently audited, and we would rather tell you what we actually know.

How the site is built

• Plain, well-ordered structure: one main heading per page, clearly labelled sections, and a "Skip to content" link as the first thing in the tab order.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the item in focus is always outlined.
• Text is measured against the WCAG contrast requirements, and every image that carries meaning has a text description.
• Pages reflow to fit narrow screens and zoomed-in views without scrolling sideways.
• The one gentle fade on each page is switched off if your device is set to reduce motion.
• There are no pop-ups, no scripts and no accessibility overlay widgets.

How it was checked

On September 24, 2026 we moved through every page with a keyboard, measured the contrast of all text, checked the page structure and image descriptions, and tested the site in the Chromium and WebKit browser engines (the engines behind Chrome, Edge and Safari) at desktop and phone sizes, including a screen 320 pixels wide.

What has not been tested yet

• No screen reader, such as VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS, has been run against the site.
• Windows High Contrast mode has not been tested.
• The site has not been tested in Firefox.
